What this costs your performance

01.

Reduced participation and availability

At its most severe, oral health problems stop athletes training or competing altogether. Among elite athletes surveyed, 18% of Olympians and 9% of UK elite athletes reported oral health issues affecting their training or performance.₁

02.

Elevated fatigue and slower recovery

Inflammation in the mouth circulates throughout the body, driving muscle fatigue, disrupted sleep, slower recovery between sessions, and a higher risk of injury.

03.

Discomfort that gets in the way of performance

Eroded enamel exposes the dentine underneath, so everyday triggers like cold drinks, gels or cold air can cause sharp discomfort. When it hurts to fuel, athletes start avoiding the foods and fluids they need, right when consistent intake matters most.

04.

Damage that compounds quietly

Enamel doesn't grow back. Damage from years of high-frequency fuelling accumulates quietly, until a lifetime of fillings, root canals, and treatment starts arriving far earlier than it should.

What Experts Are Saying

"We've seen football players who didn't take care of their teeth develop problems, miss games and in some cases even miss international tournaments. When the pain is there, it's already too late."

Fabian Hürzeler

Head Coach, Brighton & Hove Albion FC

"[Something as basic as a painful cavity] is going to affect athletes' sleep, their nutrition because they won't be able to eat everything they want to eat, and their recovery because they're not sleeping well and they're not hydrating well."

Sergio Lara‑Bercial

Professor of Sports Coaching, Leeds Beckett University; VP Strategy & Development, ICCE; former Team GB coach

Every ingredient individually proven.
One solution built for fuelling.

In just 30 seconds: Sugar cleared. Teeth protected. Ready for your next fuel.

Sodium bicarbonate

No. Dentadurance is free from alcohol, essential oils, and antiseptics. Excluding these harsh ingredients makes our solution safe to use multiple times per session and throughout the day. Dentadurance is also pH-balanced to help athletes maintain a healthy oral biome.

In comparison, most mouthwashes are acidic and/or contain harsh ingredients. This limits their use to once or twice per day to reduce the risk of irritation and other adverse effects. Unlike Dentadurance, standard oral care was never designed for athletes.

Sodium fluoride

No. Dentadurance is free from alcohol, essential oils, and antiseptics. Excluding these harsh ingredients makes our solution safe to use multiple times per session and throughout the day. Dentadurance is also pH-balanced to help athletes maintain a healthy oral biome.
